Dr. Jewel Plummer Cobb S.T.E.A.M. Women’s Empowerment Conference
March 25 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm| 15 USD Per Person
S.T.E.A.M. Women’s Empowerment Conference is a forum where individuals will be inspired to take personal responsibility in owning and embracing their story and identity. The theme for this symposium is “Nevertheless, She Persisted”, a powerful phrase that encapsulates the need for women to feel empowered even as oppressors try to silence them.
Our goals are to:
• Unite, educate and inspire women to discover their passion and purpose and elevate their understanding of what it means to be a woman in today’s society.
• Create an atmosphere where women from all walks of life can empower each other to achieve new levels of success.
• Create a platform where we can recognize and celebrate self-identified female students, faculty, staff and alumni who have made significant strides in their disciplines, who overcame challenges and who have left their imprint on our community today.
Registration begins at 9:15am and the Symposium will begin promptly at 10am. No refunds will be provided.
