During the last couple of weeks, natural disasters have gravely impacted the United States, Caribbean, and Mexico. Last night, tragedy unfolded in Las Vegas, NV, resulting in injuries and loss of life. These types of tragic events coupled with other happenings in the nation and our personal lives have the potential to weigh heavily on the human spirit and our ability to focus on academics and other responsibilities.
If you or a friend require assistance or need to speak with someone, please do not hesitate to reach out for help. There are many resources and services available; they include CAPS (Counseling, ADAP, and Psychological Services), The Office of the Dean of Students, or members of the Rutgers community like resident assistants, student group advisors, coaches, cultural center staff, and faculty. Additionally, you can express concern about a fellow Scarlet Knight anonymously by clicking the Concerned Button; someone will follow up with the person immediately.
With you in mind,
