Dear Scarlet Knights,
Today is Rutgers Giving Day, and we have the opportunity to Paint the Day Scarlet! During this 24-hour rally, Rutgers alumni, students, faculty, staff, families and friends from around the world will come together in support of their favorite Rutgers causes.
We have a number of unique funds that support students in need, so they can fully engage in the Rutgers experience. Students who may be challenged by food insecurity now have an on-campus food pantry; students who have lost financial support as a result of their identity or an unexpected situation will have access to additional resources so they can successfully complete the semester; and students who want to participate in a leadership conference or a service trip will not be limited by their personal or family finances. In addition to the Student Health and Wellness Fund, Student Emergency Fund, the LGBTQA Emergency Fund, and the Student Leadership Fund, you can support a student organization or sport club with a gift to the Student Organization Fund–New Brunswick Fund.
I ask for your help in bringing awareness to these funds, as well as your consideration in making a personal gift. Investing in our students is the perfect way to pay it forward! Together, we can make a difference in the lives of students, and the ways in which they impact New Jersey and the world and in the way they experience Rutgers.

The Rutgers Giving Day site is open for donations now and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. Stay posted on Rutgers Giving Day by following the Facebook event or by following @RutgersU on Twitter.
Thank you on behalf of our students. Your commitment to providing them with quality opportunities and experiences at Rutgers makes a difference.
