A Gathering to Celebrate the Lives of Our Students Who Passed Away this Year
Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m., Winants Hall
It is tragic when a student passes away. Even within a large institution such as ours, losses are felt deeply and enduringly as the weeks and months pass. Please join the university community for Rutgers Remembers, a service and celebration of life, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. at Winants Hall. In keeping with tradition, the Old Queens Bell will be rung in remembrance of each student lost this year. All are welcome to attend. During the program there will be an opportunity for those present to share brief personal remembrances of our lost students. If you are not able to attend the memorial in person, when you hear the bells ringing that day, I hope you will reflect on the memories of those gone from our community.
Sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and the Alliance to Advance Interfaith Collaboration.
