University Housing and Conference Services is responsible for maintaining Rutgers University's residential facilities including 147 buildings and the surrounding grounds. These facilities include traditional residence halls, apartments and suites and accommodate over 14,000 graduate and undergraduate students who live on the New Brunswick-Piscataway campus. In addition to the day-to-day custodial, maintenance, and grounds operation, the Housing office funds and manages capital improvement projects including new residential facilities, additions and renovations to current residential facilities, and enhancement of adjacent outdoor areas. The Conference Services department accommodates over 100 groups each summer, providing services to over 10,000 participants.
