Survey Eligibility: This survey is available to Rutgers University–New Brunswick undergraduate students who entered RU before Summer 2016. Students in Nursing and Pharmacy who reside in Rutgers University–New Brunswick are also eligible to participate.
Approximate time to complete: 20-30 minutes
The Diverse Learning Environments (DLE) Survey captures student perceptions regarding the institutional climate, campus practices as experienced with faculty, staff, and peers, and student learning outcomes.
This survey is available to Rutgers University–New Brunswick undergraduate students who entered RU before Summer 2016. Students in Nursing and Pharmacy who reside in Rutgers University–New Brunswick are also eligible to participate.

The DLE is a national web-based survey administered to undergraduate students who entered Rutgers University–New Brunswick prior to Summer 2016. Developed by the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the DLE captures student perceptions regarding the institutional climate, campus practices as experienced with faculty, staff, and peers, and student learning outcomes. Funded by Chancellor Richard Edwards, the DLE is being administered by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs from February 7-28, 2017. The principal investigator for this study is Dr. Dayna Weintraub, Director of Student Affairs Research and Assessment.
