Student Affairs Operations and Services Status

For the latest COVID-19 information visit coronavirus.rutgers.edu. For the New Brunswick Campus visit newbrunswick.rutgers.edu/status.

Student Affairs departments and offices are open, with staff working mostly remotely. Most divisional programs and services will be delivered remotely when possible. The websites of individual departments will provide information about specific hours of operation.

Many departments have adapted their delivery of services remotely, with some areas providing in-person services as needed, and following appropriate social distancing guidelines

Links to our departments’ status pages may be found below, as well as any updates to facility openings for the fall semester.

Accommodation Information from the Office of Disability Services (ODS)

Office Hours

ODS staff will be working remotely and will be available to meet with you via email, phone, or SKYPE. The ODS office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and will continue with a coordinator on call each day. ODS will post their on-call hours on their website each week: https://ods.rutgers.edu/

Resources

ODS has developed information about how your approved accommodations might work online, as well as a page of Frequently Asked Questions. They also have information about how the assistive technology or other tools you have been using (such as Kurzweil or Note Taking Express) might work in an online environment.

In addition, the Learning Center has developed some information about how to succeed in an online course that ODS would strongly encourage you to check out.
