Welcome Back/Scholarship Funding Availability (Deadline February 4)

Dear Scarlet Knights:

Welcome to the spring 2024 semester! Whether you are a new or returning student, I hope you had a good winter break and are looking forward to a meaningful semester. As we get back into the swing of things, I encourage you to explore the different ways you can get involved as a student on campus and to be aware of the rich array of resources available to support your success at Rutgers. Such resources include the Scarlet Guarantee, a financial support program to help students graduate on time with minimal debt.

To further support the financial needs of students, the Division of Student Affairs offers a series of scholarships through its various departments.

I am pleased to inform you that applications are now open for these scholarships and awards. Scholarship amounts and requirements vary, with qualifications ranging from demonstrated merit and need to interest in leadership, student involvement, and community service. I encourage you to visit the scholarships page on the Student Affairs website to learn more and apply: studentaffairs.rutgers.edu/scholarships. Please be sure to review the specific requirements for individual scholarships; many applications close on February 4, 2024, and most awards are applied to the spring 2024 term bills.
