Bias Response Teams
The Bias Cares Team is made up of members from the Division of Student Affairs who conduct initial outreach to students who report bias response to explain to them the bias incident response process and provide resources and referrals to students who need or ask for support.
Membership consists of community members from the following:
- Offices of the Dean of Students
- Residence Life
- Cultural Center Collaborative
- Recreation
- Student Centers and Activities
The Bias Outreach and Response team is made up of members from the Division of Student Affairs who attempt to speak with all parties mentioned in a bias incident report and make recommendations regarding resolution.
Membership consists of community members from the following:
- Offices of the Dean of Students
- Residence Life
- Cultural Center Collaborative
- Student Centers and Activities
The Rutgers–New Brunswick Bias Outreach Restoration and Education team is made up of university community members that review all bias reports and responses and make recommendations regarding prevention and post-vention programs and services. They also provide aggregate bias report data at the end of each academic year so the community can review incidents and responses.
Membership consists of community members from the following:
- Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
- Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement
- Cultural Center Collaborative
- Residence Life
- Offices of the Dean of Students
- Multi-Faith Council
- Faculty
- Rutgers University Police Department
- Graduate Student Body
- Undergraduate Student Body
