Highlighted Student Affairs Funds

Asian American Cultural Center Programs Fund

The Asian American Cultural Center (AACC) promotes a supportive environment for all students at Rutgers University interested in issues relevant to the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) diaspora. The center provides educational, cultural, and social co-curricular programs and services that reflect the experiences of APIDA individuals. We aid students in exploring their personal identity and strive to cultivate greater awareness of the diversity and complexity of the APIDA experience. We are dedicated to fostering academic excellence, community engagement, and both personal and professional leadership.

Help us achieve our goal of raising funds to support impactful programs and initiatives, including the Centerʼs learning series, peer-to-peer programs, student leadership development initiatives, annual celebrations, and the continued impact of the AACC.

Center for Latino Arts and Culture Fund

The Center for Latino Arts and Culture (CLAC) is a student-centered, inclusive community where students can better integrate experiential, academic, and service-learning about Latinx/a/o arts and culture to become strong leaders and responsible global citizens.

The Center works to create a welcoming, supportive environment that values the diverse experiences of our students. We advocate for the well-being of students and work to foster access to university services and resources. Through intentional collaboration with academic and student affairs units, the Center works to enhance student recruitment, retention, and success at Rutgers.

Our CLAC Student Excellence Fund provides unique opportunities and peer-to-peer initiatives to enhance our students' academic pursuits and prepare them for advanced study and professional careers. Your donations will help fund student research projects, learning initiatives, conferences, travel abroad, graduate and career support, professional networking, and more.

Center for Social Justice and LGBT Communities Excellence Fund

The Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities (SJE) promotes a supportive environment for students of all backgrounds.

We are responsible for educating the campus community through workshops and campaigns, including our peer-to-peer Diversity Peer Education Program, which trains students to educate their peers on topics of inclusion and belonging. We continuously support student development through student leadership retreats, programs and events, and resources assisting student success.

Gifts made during Rutgers Giving Days will support student leadership development and student wages throughout the academic year. Your support allows us to continue to provide resources related to inclusion education and gender/sexuality to promote a supportive environment for students of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences, including the LGBTQIA+ community.
