Today is Rutgers Giving Day
March 24, 2021
Dear Colleagues,
Today is Rutgers Giving Day, a day our community has a chance to come together to help Rutgers help the world.
This past year has been a trying time, and many of us have been impacted by COVID in one way or another. Throughout this unprecedented time, our commitment to students has not waivered and this has been reflected in the work you have done. Many of you have also seen how the pandemic has affected our students–the need to support them is as great as it has ever been, if not greater.
Rutgers Giving Day allows us the opportunity to continue to be there for our students by raising awareness and donor support for the Student Affairs funds that provide our students the tools to succeed at Rutgers and beyond.
I hope you can join me and the rest of the Rutgers community to promote Rutgers Giving Day. Help us spread the word by sharing posts from the division’s social media pages, use #RUGivingDay when posting about Rutgers Giving Day, and take part in online challenges throughout the day.
If you are able, consider supporting an area of the university close to your heart. In addition to the funds the division is highlighting, there are many funds available for support in such areas as academics, arts and culture, student organizations, and research, to name a few.
As always, you have my heartfelt appreciation for all that you do for our students and each other.
In Rutgers Pride,
Sal
