Rutgers University-New Brunswick is a diverse environment where students are encouraged to expand their viewpoints through intercultural understanding and engagement. An inclusive community makes certain all students are able to grow and learn successfully.

Alcohol and Other Drug Awareness (AOD)
Alcohol and drug use on campus is a reality and use may vary from non-drinkers, responsible drinkers, people seeking assistance with their alcohol and drug use, those in recovery, and everyone in between. We continue to seek innovative ways to provide and increase awareness of resources to support and promote healthy behaviors, informed decision making, and responsible choices which encourage resilience.

Diversity and Inclusion
The Division of Student Affairs works to create an environment of inclusion which respects and affirms the inherent dignity, value, and uniqueness of all individuals, communities and perspectives. Our practices reflect awareness and understanding of the complexity of identity and the increasing interconnectedness of our world. It is our responsibility to promote and maintain a community of compassion, embracing the rich dimensions of diversity, and facilitating opportunities for understanding and the expression of both individual and shared truths.

End Sexual Violence
Student Affairs, in collaboration with partners across Rutgers-New Brunswick, is working to raise awareness of University resources regarding prevention and intervention of sexual violence. We hope to not only raise awareness of resources, but help the community understand the dynamics of healthy relationships and increase active bystander intervention.
