Paul Robeson, an athlete, actor, singer and civil rights activist who is one of Rutgers’ most notable alumni, would have celebrated his 125th birthday on April 9. To mark the occasion, various university organizations and alumni groups are holding several events in or around Rutgers University–New Brunswick throughout April to honor the 20th century Renaissance man’s legacy.

At Rutgers University—New Brunswick, students have plenty of chances to get involved in intramural sports teams, student organizations, or employment opportunities in departments like Recreation and Dining, among many others. As of spring 2023, they have one more resource to connect them with these involvement opportunities: the Engagement Hub in the Student Activities Center (SAC).
