At the beginning of June, four chefs from Rutgers Dining Services attended the annual Chef Culinary Conference hosted at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. The conference, focusing on the “Power of Food,” featured speakers and food experts, interactive workshops from chefs and faculty, panel discussions, and much more.
Rutgers students sometimes experience mental health issues that require a higher level of care than regular therapy appointments. While these students would be forced to choose between hospitalization or intensive outpatient care to meet their needs at most universities, Student Health's CAPS Next Step program steps in to provide a higher level of care that allows them to keep taking classes.

Paul Robeson, an athlete, actor, singer and civil rights activist who is one of Rutgers’ most notable alumni, would have celebrated his 125th birthday on April 9. To mark the occasion, various university organizations and alumni groups are holding several events in or around Rutgers University–New Brunswick throughout April to honor the 20th century Renaissance man’s legacy.

In March 2022, Neela Patel, the executive director of Rutgers’ Student Centers and Activities in the Division of Student Affairs, became president-elect of ACUI, the longest-running organization of college union and student activities professionals. Patel served as president-elect of ACUI this past year and will transition to President on March 1 at the Annual ACUI Conference.
